定冠词的类指及有关问题

the tail 和 the wings 在此是不是表示类指，我觉得是的。

网友理解正确。两个主语前加定冠词都表示“类指”。

第一句tail 用单数，说明这类动物的尾巴通常都是“一只”；第二句wings 用复数，说明这类动物的翅膀都是“两个”。
